THE NOR’EASTER FILM FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER POSITION OPENINGS

The Nor’Easter Film Festival is entering its second year and is in search of driven, hard-working individuals to help us continue with its success. We are looking for devoted and responsible people with a passion for film to join us and work closely with the entire Nor’Easter team. Our Festival is about supporting new ideas and the creative connectivity of individuals; we follow these same principles behind the scenes. Our aim is to form a group of talented, bright, and motivated volunteers with the joint goal of putting on a spectacular Festival, and having a good time while we do it. By bringing great minds together, we hope to grow our Festival, the entire New England and International film community, and ourselves.

Please note that at this time the positions available are on a volunteer basis only. There is NO PAY and NO COMMISSION. Sorry to disappoint, but the Festival is more about experience than expense. It gives us all a chance to gain valuable experience, as well as network with filmmakers, artists, producers, actors, and others from across New England and New York. When you bring together such a vast and varied group, there is no knowing what sort of exciting new roads will open. Being a part of the Nor’Easter Film Festival also gives you the chance to recognize, prove, and/or show your leadership abilities, as well as your skills in a team environment. This is more than just a chance to grow your résumé; it is a priceless opportunity to grow yourself.

Listed below are the volunteer positions that we are looking to fill in the next few weeks. For more information on the Festival, visit our website at www.noreasterfilmfestival.com. If you are interested in helping out and would like to volunteer as a part of our team, please contact the Festival directly at noreasterfilmfestival.neff@gmail.com. Attach an résumé and a brief letter of intent for the best chance of being asked to join the Nor’Easter Film Festival.
